Boltholes and Hideaways are an Anglesey based holiday let business that play hard and compete with the bigger players in a very competitive sector.
They had a website running in WordPress but it was slow and clunky and no-one really enjoyed looking after it. It also was struggling to cope with the demands of user traffic and searches for property.
Searches were being done via the popular Super Control booking system. We tapped into their api to populate the portfolio of properties but soon realised the system, was slow. Our solution is now a mix of API calls and synced and cached data held in Craft CMS. responses to search are much improved and the client has seen a huge drop in bounce rate.
